Youth Rising Against Corruption: OSP Lights Up Christian Methodist Senior High School
27 Feb. 2026
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) brought its powerful anti-corruption message to life once again, this time captivating the entire student body of Christian Methodist Senior High School in an unforgettable outreach session.
Over 200 enthusiastic students gathered as the OSP team transformed the opening of the school’s annual SRC Week into a dynamic, open-air talk show. Through gripping real-life scenarios and thought-provoking discussions, the students were not only informed but deeply moved. Their moral compass awakened to the urgent need for integrity in every aspect of life.
The atmosphere was electric. Students leaned forward, shared personal reflections, and openly echoed the true cost of corruption to society. The OSP team seized the moment to unpack the Office’s mandate, stressing that the fight against graft cannot succeed without the active participation of the youth.
As the conversation deepened, students discovered the devastating impact of corruption on national development and the transformative power of whistleblowing in building accountability and good governance.
The highlight came when the team introduced the Youth Against Corruption (YAC) initiative. The response was immediate and overwhelming, dozens of students eagerly agreed on the spot, pledging to become part of a growing movement of young change-makers.
Although the formal programme concluded by mid-morning, the energy refused to die down. Students continued to surround the OSP team with questions, ideas, and personal commitments long after the official end.
What began as a school event ended as a powerful movement in the making, a vivid reminder that the battle against corruption starts with awareness, gains strength through engagement, and will ultimately be won by a generation that refuses to stay silent.
The future of Ghana’s integrity just got a whole lot brighter.
